Here you will find information on parts exclusive to Glencoyne Engineering. These are only available via my eBay shop: I am not geared up for processing sales orders by telephone, I don’t even have a card machine, so please don’t ask.

ENGINE MOUNTS (updated Jan 2024)

For several years I sold high quality engine mounts for older Land Rovers.  These "bobbin" mounts (part number ANR1808) were made in the UK from high quality rubber and had a huge effect in reducing engine vibrations especially on 200TDi conversions.  My original supplier discontinued them and after some research I found another UK manufacturer who could supply mounts of near enough identical specification, the only difference being that the threaded studs were slightly longer.

These mounts fit engine and gearbox on all four cylinder Ninety / One Ten and Defender up to the end of 200TDi production.  They do NOT fit 300TDi or later vehicles. They will also fit Series vehicles but are larger diameter than the original Series mounts and will need the steel end plates trimming with an angle grinder to clear the mounting brackets. 

I have now sold more than a thousand of these mounts and people love them. They are made in small batches so availability can be a little patchy. New deliveries are announced on my Facebook page so keep checking there for news.

CARBURETTORS FOR E10 FUEL (updated Jan 2024)

Since the introduction of E10 perol (10% ethanol) I have seen a lot of problems with Zenith 36IV carburettors in Series vehicles. It turns out that the O-ring which seals the float chamber is not E10 resistant, allowing raw fuel to be drawn into the intake. I have now sourced O-rings in Viton™ and can offer a 36IV overhaul kit with this O-ring, as well as new reproduction 36IV carburettors modified and rejetted for optimum performance on E10 fuel.
